How do you get a root canal?

A root canal is a dental treatment used to heal a tooth that is infected or swollen. Procedure for root canal treatment

Step 1

Step 4

Next, tools are used to shape the pulp tubes so they are ready to receive the filling material.

Step 5

Gutta-percha is a rubber-like substance that is pressed against the walls of the pulp tubes to fill them. This makes sure that the material fits snugly and keeps microorganisms out.

Step 6

There is a crown around the repaired tooth, which makes it stronger and more stable. It is made so that the fixed crown looks just like the real teeth.
